I wasn't ever really a Coldplay fan, so I don't really have an opinion on a remix. As for lack of motivation or ideas, have you ever considered adding a new sort of instrument that isn't normally featured in your pieces? Like some horns perhaps? Maybe make a disco / funk type song?
