Alright so we’ve been posting some Russe 2010 songs lately, 4 of 5, however that 5th one won’t be arriving any time soon. We finished the track and had it all ready to go for the bus but they decided to ignore all our attempts at contacting them so we could receive payment. Long story short, 2 weeks go by, we send them a legal notice for breach of oral contract and they feed us some bullshit about how the boss’s facebook and cell phone were “blocked” (which were the two methods we used to contact him) and that they didn’t manage their finances well and can’t afford to pay us for the song. We don’t want to get into a legal mess over it so we’re just going to hold onto it and hopefully make use of it for next year’s festival.
With the money we earned from the 4 busses that DID pay like good, honest Norwegians would (and we love them for that), Lars and I have been building our own bedroom studios. We’ll be sure to post about this in further detail when we’re finally done with them.
As far as new music goes that isn’t part of Russe, we have a few tracks in the works that we’re hoping to get on here fairly soon. We want to finally finish that DWM tune and a new one we’ve been working on which is pretty close to being finished.

Just wanted to say keep up the great work guys! Stumbled across this site back in October (probably tracking down the famous ‘Garden Party’) and loved your work. Since then school took over and I completely forgot to check back; however, I got the itch to check today and WOW, have you been busy! I’m impressed with your progress and hope to one day get as far as you have with my own music project haha. Catch ya later!
Sry to hear about the 5th buss nonsense. But yay for discoflex and DWM! I liked both of those when we got just a taste of the unfinished samples.
An idea struck me as I re-acquainted myself with the songs just moments ago. What about combining the two into one song? I like a lot of elements from both tracks, and at certain parts they have almost a similar tempo.
Whatever you guys go with, I’m sure it’ll be awesome. Can’t wait for the next update.
